There is a great deal of emerging research and information on the subject of wireless radiation, public health, and biological harms from our increasing exposures to wireless radiation in our everyday environments, including our homes, communities, workplaces and schools.
Below is an overview of the demonstrated biological effects and the resulting impacts associated with 5G and wireless technologies. Issues are first presented, and then links to research/info specific to that issue are provided.
All wireless systems/infrastructures and devices (including wireless routers, laptops, I Pads, cell phones, etc.) emit non-ionizing radio frequency radiation (RF.)
The research is now showing clear evidence of biological physical and neuropsychiatric harms from ongoing exposures to wireless RF (including 5G.) Children, the elderly, and the immune compromised are most vulnerable to the negative effects of RF. All forms of biological life are affected by RF as is our environment (See below for bio -effect studies.)
Past theory held that only radiation in the ionizing portion of the electromagnetic spectrum was biologically harmful. Analysis of harm was then predicated on a thermal (heating) principle. Now, thousands of peer reviewed scientific studies have demonstrated clear and significant biological harms from regular exposure to non-ionizing wireless radiation.
Physical Impacts of RF: Established Links Between Wireless Radio Frequency Radiation (RF) and Physical Health
Wireless radiation from our wireless tech is linked to: headaches, lowered immunity, fatigue, effects on cognition and long and short term memory issues, sleep problems, muscle and joint pain, nose bleeds, heart palpitations/arrhythmia/attacks/tightness in chest, dizziness/vertigo, tinnitus, blood pressure problems, balance problems, gastrointestinal problems, rashes/skin conditions/numbing, burning sensations skin/eyes, noise sensitivity, sensations of pressure in head/ears, micro ordination between eye and muscles, kidney/liver/thyroid problems, infertility, cancer, and permanent DNA damage.
In school and work environments, increased somatic symptoms and complaints have a direct link to employee/student/staff health and well-being which can significantly impact: time spent out of school/office/workplace, the ability to attend, and missed instructional/work time.
Wireless radiation is linked to significant increases in a number of neuro psychiatric/behavioral issues such as: depression, anxiety, suicidal behavior, ADD/ADHD autism/spectrum disorders and increased anger, emotional instability and behavioral changes. As we increase our reliance on wireless tech, and move to 5G and more RF in our environments, experts predict these behaviors/conditions will increase exponentially.
Increased mental health challenges can translate to increased drug use/abuse and suicides which are now 56% higher than they were just 10 years ago. Youth suicides have risen exponentially in direct correlation to the increases of wireless radiation in our homes, daily lives, and classrooms.

Research On Neuropsychiatric Biological Harms:
“Symptoms of retarded memory, learning, cognition, attention, and behavioral problems have been reported in numerous studies and are similarly manifested in autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorders, as a result of EMF and RFR exposures where both epigenetic drivers and genetic (DNA) damage are likely contributors. Technology benefits can be realized by adopting wired devices for education to avoid health risk and promote academic achievement”
– Sage and Burgio
The researchers concluded that there was a direct correlation, in fact, an 80% higher tendency for children to have behavioral, emotional, and hyperactive behaviors after excessive pre- and post-natal cell phone exposure.
Electrosensitivity, or Electrohypersenstivitvy (EHS) as it is sometimes called, currently affects 3- 13% of the world’s population and is expected to rise with our increasing RF exposures from expanding use of wireless devices and infrastructures. EHS is characterised by physical and neuropsychiatric symptoms and conditions (see above for common symptoms) that are the result of, or worsened by, exposures to RF/electromagnetic fields in daily settings. Treating and accomodationg EHS involves creating low/no RF/EMF environments in the home, school, public places etc., where technology can be safely accessed through wired computers/devices/systems. EHS can be genetic, brought on by an exposure incident, or by ongoing exposure to both non-ionizing and ionizing radiation. EHS is a recognized medical condition and disability that requires accommodation through the ADA. Genetic testing for EHS is expected within the next 2-3 years. People with EHS often also have multiple chemical and food sensitivities and increased sensitivity to fluorescent lights and sound.
Many people currently have symptoms that relate to RF/EHS, such as ongoing unexplained headaches, heart palpitations, focus/attention issues, tinnitus, or insomnia, but are unaware of the link between their condition and exposure to RF. As our levels of RF increase, and more educational information becomes available to the public and medical communities on RF symptomatology and correlations, it is expected that more cases of EHS will be identified, and thus, will require medical accommodations.
In addition, RF is also a known aggravant in a number of immunocompromised, neuropsychiatric, and neurological conditions, including diabetes and seizure disorders.
Schools, municipalities and workplaces will need to be able to provide medical accommodations for individuals with EHS, immunocompromised status, and other illnesses affected by RF, so that these individuals have full access to their home, work and learning environments.
In response to growing concerns about the biological effects of RF, schools are further investigating the effects of RF and taking both precautionary/mitigating actions to reduce exposures. Parents are learning more about RF effects and are taking these considerations to their school administrators, school boards, PTA/PTO, and parent communities. Parents are requesting deeper inquiry into the safety of RF, as well as policy changes and medical accommodations for their children.

Another area of potential liability is municipalities/school districts who have been notified regarding potential wireless harms and failed to do further inquiry and/or take preventative/protective actions/measures to prevent them. Additionally, municipalities/schools who have been notified of these potential wireless harms, but failed to make appropriate accommodations for residents/ students with EHS and other medical conditions relating to RF, may be found legally liable for found harms and/or failure to accommodate.
